Thank You Robynne - what a pleasure this was to read.
I've only started on Substack some 4/5 days ago in hope that my writing can resonate with others on here who are experiencing anticipatory grief with the added life experiences in between and how they're shaping me.
It was so nice to read this as where I'm currently living, there is nobody in my circumstances I can reach out to due to the island being so small - the internet and SubStack itself is becoming my breathing space 🌬️
Thank you - consider me as a Follower and Subscriber 😊 Appreciate its early in my SubStack journey but feel free to follow / subscribe to me back.
DJ, thank you for your message. Living our grief silently is incredibly difficult, and I hope you find solace and community through your substack posts and the community we can each build around it. I have found writing of grief requires learning to live in it with grace. It invites us to venture into the writings, lessons and experiences of others who've travelled the same path. It not only support our writing but our journey through grief. For me it has been the most profound experience of my life. I wish you all the best in your journey and look forward to following you on your substack page.
Thanks Robynne - really appreciate your thoughts and personal take on it. I understand that at this moment in time, I'm walking a slightly altered path in that I'm in the anticipatory phase but I feel I'm resonating with so many writings on this platform already, including yours so Thank You.
Likewise, really looking forward to your writings. It feels so so liberating for me knowing there is a strong community on here.
